I’m Karen - Founder of the Ruby Reset

I’ve always been the organiser in my family and friendship circle, but it was during lockdown that I fully embraced how powerful a well-organised home can be.

At the time, I was working long hours as an operations manager, juggling competing priorities and realising that the structured thinking I applied so effectively at work wasn’t making its way into my own space. I knew that clear processes, sensible systems, and less noise could make life feel calmer and so I started to apply them at home as well as in the office.

With encouragement from my sister, I took the leap. I invested in professional training, refined my skills, and reset my own home from top to bottom. The transformation was so impactful that I knew I wanted to help others achieve the same sense of clarity and control.

And so, The Ruby Reset was born. I’m proud to be trained and accredited by Dilly Carter of Declutter Dollies, who you may recognise from BBC’s Sort Your Life Out, having completed her Become a Professional Organiser training programme.

My mission is simple: I want to help people reclaim time, save money, and improve mental wellbeing by creating homes that genuinely support the lives they are currently living. I focus on realistic, behaviour-led, sustainable systems (not quick fixes that collapse the moment real life kicks in).

Based in Glasgow, I bring together operational expertise, smart systems, and an unapologetic love of a good spreadsheet (often fuelled by a rock, metal, or emo playlist in the background). The result? Organised spaces that are practical, personal, and built to last.

If you’re ready to reset your space, I’m ready to help.
